Todd Research Group

Experimental tools to study the structure of materials with extreme precision and under extreme conditions

ABOUT US

Todd Group at Johns Hopkins University focuses on structural materials, nanomaterials, X-ray scattering, 3D microstructures, and metals. We worked on Dynamic Fracture of Rocks and Engineering Ceramics, 3D Microstructural Characterization of Materials and Dynamic Deformation of Materials. We collaborated with multidisciplinary group consisting of students enrolled in the Departments of Materials Science & EngineeringMechanical Engineering Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Engineering. Our tools include X-ray synchrotron, Phase contrast X-ray, Kolsky bar and Shock laser experiments are important techniques used in our group.
